Flying Triangle: San Jose -n- Stuff
http://flyingtriangle.blogspot.com/2015/02/san-jose-n-stuff.html
Don't get any ideas. Sunday, February 22, 2015. San Jose -n- Stuff. I spent much of last week in San Jose for a conference. I'm relieved to say it was successful overall and that I had a good time to boot. I hosted a women's meetup on Wednesday evening. That went well. I also hosted some networking at tables at lunch the following two days that went very well, even better than usual, some interesting discussions. Those kinds of activities are very gratifying for me. The view from my room at the Hilton.

Flying Triangle: November 2004

Don't get any ideas. Sunday, November 28, 2004. Sunday at the Library, Blogging. The day was gloomy, but the fire was always glowing in the hearth, and mom seems so much better. She was getting around well on her crutches. I wanted to watch TV (research for my scheme to get on a game show to earn money for the wedding), but there just didn't seem to be any time. I asked. Right here, was his answer. Back home, we moved into cooking mode. By 5:00 pm we had a meal fit for a photo, but did I take one? M stud...

Flying Triangle: February 2005

Don't get any ideas. Saturday, February 26, 2005. Noooo And of course it was fine. The geek was very gracious (he was a bit older, so probably had more experience hiding his distain for idiots like me), and did point out that we could get the hinge fixed while it was under warranty, so the trip wasn't a total loss. Except I'm a dork. Revenge of the Blog People. What intellectuals think of us bloggers. I'm a volunteer usher at our local cultural center, and tonight I'm working a talk by John Irving. M, ca...

Flying Triangle: October 2004

Don't get any ideas. Saturday, October 30, 2004. Time Warp Times Two. On the road is possible is beyond me. But that's M. He's a world-class connoisseur of the microwaved burrito, and he can grill with the best of 'em when we entertain, but cooking for himself is just not an option. Loving you, Ja-Ja. Who the hell is Ja-Ja? It's been driving me crazy. I also found an article on an acquaintance of mine from that time period, Alan Ball. God, I hope so. Rex in the Tub. Originally uploaded by suzipaw. Who's the Barber Here? A collection of the absurd. Solicitations and signs that make you wonder just how dim they think we really are. Monday, November 15, 2010. These Instructions are Mocking Me! That's not an estimate, that's a taunt and a mean spirited lie! Three hours, not counting cleanup time. Wednesday, November 10, 2010. I was working on a review of QuickBooks for Mac this week. Who's the Barber Here?: Stuart's Sky Mall Game

Who's the Barber Here? A collection of the absurd. Solicitations and signs that make you wonder just how dim they think we really are. Monday, March 15, 2010. Stuart's Sky Mall Game. I admit it. When I fly, I enthusiastically dive into the Sky Mall. Catalog. I adore it's randomness. There aren't many catalogs where you can find a $400 foot squisher. And a two foot tall Bigfoot statue. In the same pages. Inspired by its strangeness and by my beloved parody Sky Maul. Shop 'Till You Drop. From the Sky! P 22-...

Who's the Barber Here? A collection of the absurd. Solicitations and signs that make you wonder just how dim they think we really are. Wednesday, November 4, 2009. Less spicy than most of the others on the shelf. Which makes the label design that much more amusing. I buy this stuff because I don't want to "go bold." I want to go mild. Then I want some warm milk while I watch Matlock. Monday, November 2, 2009. Maybe half off a timing belt replacement! Which leads us to Mr. Opportunity up there. La...
