Thursday, December 18, 2014. It's official. The nerve rhizotomy worked! Another victory is only having to take 2 pain pills during the day! I had been on 6 for quite some time, so I was super excited to realize that I only needed 2 a day post-op. I still take a stronger pain med to get me through the whole night.but nighttime is a whole other story. I have yet to conquer my nighttime symptoms. Ngoc and Seth's Blog. We managed 315 miles (506 KM) overnight from Sapa to Cat Ba Island in Halong Bay. We checked into a beach-side hotel and then got on a boat for a day of rock-climbing the limestone karst islands.
