Angie's Not So Exciting Life: April 2014
http://angiegoddard.blogspot.com/2014_04_01_archive.html
Angie's Not So Exciting Life. Monday, April 28, 2014. We have made some good progress! We have finally made some progress after some devastating problems. Here is the long story, hold on, go to the bathroom, get a snack. Since it was such a nice day, and we already had the loader running, Mike decided to pack some dirt along the north side of the greenhouse. Remember, last post when I said we need to backfill the north for insulation purposes? First, we needed to take all the dirt out that we just worked...

Angie's Not So Exciting Life: July 2010
http://angiegoddard.blogspot.com/2010_07_01_archive.html
Angie's Not So Exciting Life. Monday, July 26, 2010. Sometimes, I amaze myself. I went to our local Pamida (a micro Walmart) store to look around for a few things. I was so AMAZED when I found these comforters on clearance. The pictures tell the reason why. Can you see the WAS: price? The clearance price is correct. Can you believe it? A king size comforter for $6.50 and a queen for $5.50! I think this is the deal of the century for me! Think what you want about my redneck solution. I'm happy! I was look...

Angie's Not So Exciting Life. Tuesday, October 22, 2013. Greenhouse.our progress over the last couple of weeks and a few other tidbits. We got a lot of work done last weekend. We focused on backfilling the dirt around the greenhouse. Mike would use the back hoe to push some dirt in, then we had to shovel and smooth the dirt out.to make it even. Then we used the packer to pack it down. Then we started all over and over and over. Then we leveled it all out, with a shovel. Then packed it down. This is the s...

Angie's Not So Exciting Life: March 2014
http://angiegoddard.blogspot.com/2014_03_01_archive.html
Angie's Not So Exciting Life. Friday, March 7, 2014. It has been awhile since I updated the greenhouse progress. Mainly, because with the cold weather and making a couple of trips we haven't done a whole lot on it. Probably since November, we've worked 4 or 5 days. The break has been nice, but I am getting anxious to get some things finished and start planting! This is a view of where we will plant the fruit trees. We need to till in some compost in these spots. We have dandelions and caterpillars. A...

Angie's Not So Exciting Life: February 2011
http://angiegoddard.blogspot.com/2011_02_01_archive.html
Angie's Not So Exciting Life. Friday, February 25, 2011. We have a huge list of things we want to do to our house. Lots of remodeling, redecorating and organizing. We started with our storage/junk room. I didn't take a before picture but believe me, it needed a redo. I thought it just needed cleaned and organized. Mike thought it needed paint and a new floor. Shock! I didn't think it needed paint. But I was all too happy to do some painting. This is a pic of the wall and the floor newly painted. You ...

Angie's Not So Exciting Life: November 2010
http://angiegoddard.blogspot.com/2010_11_01_archive.html
Angie's Not So Exciting Life. Wednesday, November 10, 2010. Here is another Thrift store find. So I already mentioned how cheap I am. Here is the story on the window frame. I have been looking for a window frame for months. One that I could use for a headboard or some type of wall decoration. I went to the local Thrift store, my favorite, but as previously mentioned, high priced. Not really, I'm just so cheap. I went over and looked at it, Perfect! Is a little high. The hardest part of all was explaining...

Angie's Not So Exciting Life: May 2014
http://angiegoddard.blogspot.com/2014_05_01_archive.html
Angie's Not So Exciting Life. Friday, May 16, 2014. Windows and orange trees. Here are a few things we've done the last couple of weeks. We put in two windows and a fan to help with ventilation and cooling. The fan will turn on when the temp inside reaches 70 degrees. The fan is in the middle, windows on the sides. Kind of hard to tell the difference in the picture. These are 3 year old trees and are about 2.5 ft tall. We were a little dissappointed in the size. They lookes so much bigger on ...I didn't ...

Angie's Not So Exciting Life: December 2010
http://angiegoddard.blogspot.com/2010_12_01_archive.html
Angie's Not So Exciting Life. Thursday, December 2, 2010. I found a pattern on the internet for these cute little slippers. They were pretty easy to make. Only took me 2 hours.the first one is always harder. The second one took about 15 min. They are supposed to have rubber stuff on the bottom, like treads, but I didn't put it on these ones since they will fit a 6 mos. old baby. So this was definitely the practice pair. I'm going to try a few more for all my cute little grandkids and friends.
