Seth's Rants and Raves. Friday, October 28, 2005. We head to Corpus Christi today to play Dr. Rockits. It's gonna be whole lotta flat scenery. Oh I forgot about the Majestic Refineries! Once perched up on the stage, all of the driving is worth it! We love playing Dr. Rockits, and Squirrel and co. always treat us well! And Corpus is the home of Whataburger! Blues and Burgers. Does it get much better? I am now selling my artwork. Thanks to all who asked for them! We are also accepting credit at our shows!

This guy is the real deal. He is a multi-Grammy winner, and one soulful singer. He performed at the World Series last night in Houston. One of the few things that went off well in that game. My daughter, Jennie Brunner and I hosted 13 enthusiastic students for 4 days of nature walks, yoga, and tunes, culminating in a concert on the last evening! Irish Fiddle Workshops and Family Camps. Saturday, July 02, 2005. Fiddle Camp at Blowing Rock 2005. The third annual Walker Family Band Music Workshop held in Blowing Rock, NC was a great success. Students ranging in age from 7 to 17 from NY to FL enjoyed a week learning and playing Irish fiddle tunes on violin, cello, guitar, penny whistle, bass, mandolin, banjo and more. A bit of Jazz, Old Time, Bluegrass and some interesting work in improvisation was explored by students as well. Links to this post.
