Anza-Borrego Desert State Park. March 25 - 26, 2006. To S Palm Wash and Slot Canyon in Borrego Badlands. Bad trail to Calcite Mine! OK for a burro but for not us. Located east of town, just north of hwy S22, see map. A much better trail in South Palm Wash leads to the slot canyon. Jan has a migraine in the makings. Very peaceful Zen moment. Canyon best viewed at max foto size. Which improves depth perception. I could use a few more rocks.

Anza-Borrego Desert State Park. March 25 - 26, 2006. Just before the CRASH at the Sand Dunes. The kids had great fun racing around on the dunes. Click here for video clip of kids hurdling across the sand. Located just past the east end of Palm Canyon Drive,. Great fun. till Mike takes a nose-dive off a 6' drop at warp speed. Jackie's practically new BMW is DOA. The kneeling Muslims are confused - which way is east? Allah provided a tow strap. As dad tows the injured BMW back towards Borrego Springs.

Lunch break - worked up an appetite paddling up river. Lower Willows - must be a nice picture in this scene somewhere. For a patient photographer - which I am not. Desert Garden in Coyote Canyon is always good for Sand Verbena. Admiring the spring beauty of this wonderful desert park. A wonderful slot canyon in this crevice.
