Joy in the Journey

Joy in the Journey. Sunday, April 15, 2012. Before we left for the break, that Friday I was able to watch some of them shine with poetry reciting. Below are some videos and pictures of them reciting :). Posted by Allison Mills. Thursday, March 29, 2012. A few weeks ago one of my sweet students moved to Ogden. Here is a picture of me with her. We all wrote on a shirt for her to remember us and how much we love her. A whole lot of floats :). Dragon Blood is a favorite of a few of the boys in the class.

Joy in the Journey: Some Highlights from Today

http://www.setsailwithmissmills.blogspot.com/2012/03/some-highlights-from-today.html

Joy in the Journey. Friday, March 2, 2012. Some Highlights from Today. I'm going to put up another post of all the amazing February Valentine's boxes the sailors made, but that will be on Sunday. Tonight I just wanted to share some highlights that brought laughter and smiles to all those who were there in Room 18. First, we had our New Zealand party, and oh my gosh, the Haka was meant for boys! This year has brought a lot of new and amazing challenges. Each year is just a way to grow more and more. The b...

Here you go-enjoy! A whole lot of floats :). Dragon Blood is a favorite of a few of the boys in the class. The Legend of Zorro- barbie version. So impressed with this one!

Joy in the Journey: A New Look

http://www.setsailwithmissmills.blogspot.com/2012/02/new-look.html

Joy in the Journey. Sunday, February 5, 2012. A military man, one girl dressed up as a duck, from "Make Way for Ducklings," and I can't remember what book this was from, but one of my students dressed up in a plaid dress with a sweater, and carried a picnic basket with a dog inside. So cute! I'm actually really proud of this poster-and the kids started to make some great connections with the books they were reading. A new place for tables, and some vocabulary sheets for guided reading. So long you evil c...

Joy in the Journey: September 2011

http://www.setsailwithmissmills.blogspot.com/2011_09_01_archive.html

Joy in the Journey. Wednesday, September 7, 2011. I'm so sorry I haven't written a recent blog post; getting ready for the school year has been so busy with Open House, Back to School Night, and of course, getting to know my wonderful 29 sailors of our ship, which they named. The Caribbean! I am so happy they were open to that name and were happy to have it. I love being with these sailors everyday! Posted by Allison Mills. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

Anderson: 4 Months Old!

http://blakeandlynn.blogspot.com/2012/06/4-months-old.html

Tuesday, June 5, 2012. So it's been a while! Been busy I guess! So where I don't have everything memorized I'll just combine it all into one big post. Chloe is getting so big! So while its been a moody couple of days, she's pretty happy when your attention is given to her. We started her on cereal yesterday, and I'm not sure what she thinks of it lol. Her face looks so disgusted with the spoon. She'd rather have it in a bottle, but what baby new to the spoon likes it? Upcoming adventures include, Blake's...

http://blakeandlynn.blogspot.com/2012_02_01_archive.html

Monday, February 6, 2012. Life As We Know It. It's still surreal that Chloe is finally here! I can't believe life has changed, but OBVIOUSLY for the BETTER! So sorry if it may be a little more than you bargained for, I'll try to keep it as PG as I can. 3 pm comes and Blake gets home from school to see that I'd started hurting and didn't want to go to work, but I was still feeling like I was going to be fine for the night, and I never would have thought that I was going to have her by the next morning.

Anderson: I should be packing...

http://blakeandlynn.blogspot.com/2012/12/i-should-be-packing.html

Monday, December 10, 2012. I should be packing. She's grown a ton in the last 2 months huh! Last week I took it upon myself to knit her a hoodie! More time wasted when I should have been packing) Well I guess it wasn't wasted, because she's got a really cute hoodie that came out of it. It's a bit big, but I can roll up the sleeves and it's so big she can probably wear it next fall too. You can't really see but the hood has pink and white stripes on it. I'm quite proud. :). I should be packing.

Anderson: Life... For now

http://blakeandlynn.blogspot.com/2013/01/life-for-now.html

Wednesday, January 16, 2013. We live here now, finally. After 4 long years in the wintery depths of Idaho, we are finally out! Blake is now looking for a job preferrably in the health science field, but will really take anything at this point. And he heads to Spokane on the 23rd to take the MCAT the morning of the 24th. He's pretty stressed with everything going on at this point in life, but I know that soon it'll slow down. January 16, 2013 at 2:22 PM. What area in Washington did you guys move to? Born ...

Anderson: 6 Months!

http://blakeandlynn.blogspot.com/2012/08/6-months.html

Tuesday, August 7, 2012. So, I don't do very much other than take care of Chloe, I have no excuse for being terrible at this blogging. But about a week ago as I was thinking about how bad I am at it, I came to the conclusion that as long as I'm updating it every other month I should be good. Right? I can't believe my baby is a half of a year old. These 6 months have flown by so quick! Now I know better. We are sooooo close to getting out of Rexburg as well! And then we are on the road back to Richland, W...

Saturday, October 13, 2012. I may say this a lot but time is seriously flying! I cannot believe my baby is 8 months old! Even more so that it's already October! We will start with the Chloe update first though:. Chloe is army crawling! Chloe's personality is definitely starting to show. She dances to songs and loves to be outside. I'm sure we will be discovering a ton more about her though in the upcoming months. I have something so much fun planned. or at least the general idea is awesome.). We seriousl...

Anderson: December 2011

http://blakeandlynn.blogspot.com/2011_12_01_archive.html

Sunday, December 18, 2011. She Calls them Whoopies. Poor Lovey (the prego dog), we were really wanting her to get pregnant this time around because when Chloe will be born in Feb. when these pups will be 7 weeks (at their cutest), so that we'd be able to take some dang cute pictures of her with the puppies. So Lovey was Artificially inseminated (only twice) but she gave birth to a whopping 13 puppies! So I made my way to the vet, saw the 1st to pups, and they were so cute, and FAT! But there were so many...

Anderson: What is enough these days?

http://blakeandlynn.blogspot.com/2012/11/what-is-enough-these-days.html

Monday, November 12, 2012. What is enough these days? Chloe's been sick the last 3 days. She's had a fever of 101 . Scary, right? 2 o'clock and she's warm again so I called and took her into the doctors, turns out it's probably just a virus. So fevers usually last about 2-4 days, and that means it should break tomorrow, and Chloe will start feeling better. I NEED for her to feel better. Feeling guilty right about now). PS - CHLOE FINALLY HAS A TOOTH! Just had to throw that in there :). Emma at 4 Months.

http://blakeandlynn.blogspot.com/2012/03/1-month-old.html

Sunday, March 18, 2012. Ok, So Chloe is really 6 weeks old now but I'm thinking at least a monthly update with her doings and her monthly picture on here will be awesome! So as for milestones. I don't know what ones count and what ones don't because quite honestly, they're all milestones when its you're kid. So a few notes:. She's got smiling down! Chloe is picking up on her schedule. Come 7 o'clock, She's dozing. And for sure, within the hour she's sleeping. Who knows, I just hope that they don't hurt h...
