Mitchell is Moving: Knights on White Horses
http://mitchellismoving.blogspot.com/2010/12/knights-on-white-horses.html
Tuesday, December 28, 2010. Knights on White Horses. My cousin said, "I always worried about Dale. She lived in this fantasy that a knight in shining armor was going to sweep her off her feet and take her away to a foreign land. I thought she was going to be heart-broken when she discovered that that just doesn't happen. Then, it turns out she was right. Along comes her prince.". Putting A Ring On It. Five states and the District of Columbia have legalized same-sex marriage. So, our options were four...

http://mitchellismoving.blogspot.com/2015_05_01_archive.html
Sunday, May 31, 2015. Thursday morning, San Geraldo, Judyshannonstreetwhat (click here). And I took the train up to the mountain city of Ronda (population about 35,000. not counting tourists). It's less than two hours by train. A beautiful trip to a breathtaking destination. We stayed in the city and walked up and down the winding cobblestone streets all day Thursday and most of Friday. The Guadelevin River splits the city, whose two sections are connected by three bridges:. New Bridge, completed in 1793).

We stopped at the department store El Corte Inglés to pick up a few things. What were we thinking? LA ALAMEDA PRINCIPAL (THE MAIN BOULEVARD). MAGICAL. Within 10 minutes (that seemed like 10 hours). NOT THE STAR OF BETHLEHEM. WE WERE BEING MOONED. NANOOK OF THE NORTH (AKA SAN GERALDO). TEMPERATURE WAS 11C/51F. WE WERE FREEZING. 161;Feliz Año Nuevo!

Mitchell is Moving: Visiting the Family
http://mitchellismoving.blogspot.com/2011/01/visiting-family.html
Thursday, January 6, 2011. Uncle Aaron's brain was no longer much for details. As he approached 80, his once-sharp memory had begun to come and go, He was constantly getting confused — missing connections — much like the electric trolley cars he used to drive through Brooklyn to Prospect Park. Clanging merrily down the street one moment, and stopped on the tracks, the overhead wire disconnected from the power source, the next. I'LL ONLY HAVE A SLIVER. Since giving birth to her first child some 50 years e...

Mitchell is Moving: Chucking Woodchucks and Kosher Dills in Guilford, Connecticut
http://mitchellismoving.blogspot.com/2011/02/chucking-woodchucks-and-kosher-dills-in.html
Wednesday, February 9, 2011. Chucking Woodchucks and Kosher Dills in Guilford, Connecticut. OUR PASTORAL CONNECTICUT LIFE. I've mentioned Connecticut in earlier posts. We lived for a time in the beautiful and historic village of Guilford, established in 1639. GUILFORD'S VILLAGE GREEN AND CIVIL WAR MEMORIAL. A WONDERFUL PLACE FOR THE WOODCHUCKS TO PLAY. CUTTING THE PERFECT TREE. A REASON TO VISIT OUR LIVING ROOM. But, back to the woodchucks. A WOODCHUCK WOULD CLEARLY CHUCK ALL THE WOOD HE COULD. After tra...

Mitchell is Moving: We're All Ears
http://mitchellismoving.blogspot.com/2013/12/were-all-ears.html
Friday, December 6, 2013. Although Moose has been enjoying play-time with me and these mice, as well, he still manages to entertain himself throughout the day. Not Dudo. He needs and expects (and, OK, usually gets). MOOSE TRYING TO GET MY ATTENTION AT SUNRISE. AND I THOUGHT IT HAD BEEN DUDO! THIS IS WHAT UNTOUCHED MOUSE #3 LOOKS LIKE. The original mice are simply hard plastic "bodies" wrapped with duotone elastic cord, with felt eyes, ears, and nose attached. But after a few minutes with Dudo and Moo...

Mitchell is Moving: April 2015
http://mitchellismoving.blogspot.com/2015_04_01_archive.html
Thursday, April 30, 2015. I've gone through all the chocolate San Geraldo brought home for me last Wednesday — a variety bag of bombones (bonbons), a large bar of milk chocolate with almonds, another bar of milk chocolate filled with orange creme (click here to eat your heart out). Fortunately, I still had an unopened box of assorted chocolates Jessica had brought over late last week. But, when I inhaled the last of those today I thought, "Now what? And, like magic, there was someone at the lobby door.
