So highlights for the busy Summer term were Painting on Location and Conceptual Design. This was an interesting class because it's the first time I've painted with oils and they were interesting to get used to. Here's some of the painting on location work I liked more. Sunday, February 3, 2013. A late Christmas present to a friend. So This FINALLY came in the mail. I guess I should never order anything JUST before holiday vacations, but this is a digital sculpt I made based on work by an illustrator I know: Cammile Buckles. I had it made into both a Steel pendant and a Brass pendant plated in gold as a gift for the holidays:. But overall I think the STEEL print came out with more contrast and made the design easier to see. I had these done by i.materialise.
