Now I had better qualify that and state that I don’t imagine for a second that only Sevenoaks taxi drivers are like this. I’m sure it is a nationwide (if not worldwide) phenomena and I’m sure some Sevenoaks taxis drivers are fantastic. However, it seems that the majority of them deserve my description. Random thoughts and opinions on living and working in Sevenoaks, Kent. Careful Crossing is Required. I’ve given up counting the times that drivers have driven through zebra crossings that I was about to step on to. I remember an article in the Sevenoaks Chronicle. A few years ago about how dangerous the zebra crossing on London Road had become. This is the one near the chocolate shop. Lately, I’ve not only had problems there but on the ones on Dartford Road and Seal Hollow Road. Be careful out there!
