Sage the Blog : Stitch Fix #1
http://www.sagetheblog.com/2014/08/stitch-fix-1.html
On Wednesday I received my first Stitch Fix. For those of you that are unfamiliar with Stitch Fix, you can read more about it here. I love Stitch Fix because I HATE shopping in stores, but I love clothes. Stitch Fix allows me to try on clothing, hand picked for me, in the comfort of my own home. This way, I don't have any of those moments where the clothes look great in the store, but then I get home and have nothing to pair them with! I also love their referral program. My thoughts on each piece:. I ADO...

Sew My Soul: the comparison game took the joy out of blogging.
http://sewmysoul.blogspot.com/2015/05/the-comparison-game-took-joy-out-of.html
Thursday, May 7, 2015. The comparison game took the joy out of blogging. But I'm an early riser. Weekends mean sleeping in for Drew if he's off but getting up early and enjoying a morning of quiet for me. Now he works night shifts and I've got a few hours before bed of just being by myself after I've finished my to-do list for the day. So many posts in blog world these days are promotional. I see new product reviews, posts promoted by other bloggers because they're obligated to because of sponsorship...

Sew My Soul: through my lens
http://sewmysoul.blogspot.com/2015/08/through-my-lens.html
Friday, August 7, 2015. Over the summer I've participated in online photography classes, and have spent hours and hours and hours taking pictures, editing them, researching lenses, begging people to let me take their pictures, and deciding what I would call my photography endeavor so that when I do take photos I can mark them as mine with something a little better than "Kaitlin Beckwith Photography." Captured by Kaitlin Rose is what stuck for me. Like a normal adult. Thanks for stopping by! Div align="ce...

Sew My Soul: making a comeback with 13.1
http://sewmysoul.blogspot.com/2016/02/making-comeback-with-131.html
Monday, February 15, 2016. Making a comeback with 13.1. I haven't blogged in a long, long time. And honestly I haven't missed it very much. I got kind of tired of the sponsored contact taking over the blogisphere and the increase in shallow posts and decrease in heartfelt connections I was noticing. Then I started a business. I started to think about maybe writing again. Then I signed up for a half marathon and started training. Let me tell you right now: training as a non-athletic person SUCKS. It's...

Robyn's Nest!: October 2014
http://www.robynsnest.org/2014_10_01_archive.html
Thursday, October 30, 2014. October 26th Part 1. This story is written like fiction, but it is very true. It happened in October of 2012, so some of the details may be a little hazy to me but the story is as accurate as I recall. I wanted to have an account of the craziest thing that happened to me in my life thus far and thought it would be fun to write it in story form. Enjoy! It is going to be such a rushed morning. I thought as I brushed my teeth and picked out an outfit for the day. The wedding is o...
