At Home on Pine Ridge. Friday, May 28, 2010. About a month ago, I made 6 flower pots to put on my back patio and around the pool. Here they are when I planted them. I am so happy they have really taken off and grown. A few of the flowers died and I will probably replace them if they have left bare spots. But I am thrilled they are still alive and looking good. At Home on Pine Ridge. Wednesday, March 31, 2010. Here was the view looking toward the west this morning as I was getting into the truck to go to work. This picture is blurry because it was so windy I couldn't hold the camera steady. But, that is the moon, huge and still pretty high in the sky at 7 am. Here is the view looking toward the east about 10 minutes later. The sun is coming up. It looks like it is still pretty dark but it wasn't really. I just thought that was pretty cool. At Home on Pine Ridge. Tuesday, April 27, 2010. Busy as a Bee. I'm linking up with a Southern Daydreamer. Larry and I are taking the RV (5th wheel) out for the first time this spring this weekend. We are just going about 20-25 miles away to Shoal Bay, a nice Corp of Engineer Park. Doesn't that look inviting? We'll have to get groceries tomorrow night and finished packing everything. At Home on Pine Ridge. Tuesday, November 30, 2010. Usually I put my Christmas village in the Library/Office. But, we really don't use it very much so this year I decided to find a place in the living room. I had too many to put in one place so I made one display on my fireplace hearth (I'll show that to you later) and one on the side table in the dining room. At Home on Pine Ridge. Friday, December 31, 2010. So far two ideas have come to mind. Joy - I want. To find Joy in all that I do and in all that is around me. It is a state of mind. I am often happy or sad. But Being Joyful just sounds like a good way to live. Faith - I do have Faith and don't think of it as faltering. I do live my life as a good Christian but we all have room for improvement. I do plan to return to spending more time "reading about my faith" and "talking to Jesus". Links to this post.
