Thank you for stopping by. This year we were able to take around 1200 dresses and 200 tote bags to Haiti. These were given away to those in need around Cap-Haitien and Port-au-Prince. They were created with the sewing efforts of many people around the country (Thank you! And it was a pleasure to be able to share in the work. We can use any help in continuing this effor as well. Quilting = sanity check. Monday, April 2, 2012. I was given this amazing rug, it was torn and more than a little dirty, by my amazing aunt. I think it was made in the 1950s or 60s? It now sits nicely (and clean and for the most part repaired) in our family room well used by the children. I am glad I did not turn it down because of the tears.
