#jumpingintojune: A Lineup of Jumpsuits | said & done: Handmade by Chris

Said and done: Handmade by Chris. About me / über mich. Jumpingintojune: A Lineup of Jumpsuits. June 7, 2015. What is the collective noun for a number of jumpsuits? Hmm, not sure – but I am sure there should be a word for this, because when you look at the lineup of jumpsuits that #jumpingintojune has generated you know that these are here to stay. Aren’t they amazing? In her BHL Holly – amazing jumping skills AND the requisite amount of modesty incluced. My good self, Chris of. Sewing Soothes the Soul.

I don’t always take part in a lot of challenges, but there’s a few that’s caught my attention in 2017. The January ‘Keep It Cosy” #dressmakingbloggerchallenge. Is the first one I’ve managed to complete! I’ve had 1.5m of this ridiculously thick sweater knit for about 2 years. I bought if from Fabworks for 10 a metre with no project in mind. the squishiness just drew me in and I just had to buy it!

Said and done: Handmade by Chris. About me / über mich. BHL Holly: Mission Accomplished. June 2, 2015. Here for one last mission: to hand over the controls of Team JumpingintoJune. Yes Ma’am, this is Holly taking over! If your are unsure what all this madness is about, look no further than here. This is what #jumpingintojune is all about. Yes, those legs are too long – I rather overestimated the height of my heals… There is a lot of silliness going on in the back croth to lower back area. Wait, magic fix:.

In October 2015 I decided to direct a production of the well-loved literary classic, Little Women for the Swan Theatre Company in Worcester. After auditioning the strong cast of 10 actors it was important to try and express a true feel of 1860’s Massachusetts, with props, set and above all else the costume. Little Women...
