Fun with Sewing and Maths! Sarah and Suze's Sewing Insanity…. Truth be told, we are geeks. Massive geeks. We get excited about pins and presser feet. Oh yes, we live the dream and we live it hardcore. We also really like the following things:. 4) Being in competition, not only with others, but with ourselves. Actually, sod it, mainly with ourselves. 5) Riding our bikes (Sarah has a basket of which Suze is jealous…). 6) Fondling beautiful fabrics. And so, Dear Readers, we invite you to peruse The Rules.

Fun with Sewing and Maths! Sarah and Suze's Sewing Insanity…. It’s all in black and white / cycling fabric, how exciting! September 12, 2012. Fun with Sewing and Maths! Life is currently in monochrome. The 2 things (projects 29 and 30 if I’m counting) I’ve made his week have both, completely coincidentally, been white and black. I love cycling, I love my bike, I saw the fabric, the idea formed and the fabric was in my grubby little paws faster than you can say “Impulse Purchase”. This top is really why I...

Fun with Sewing and Maths! Sarah and Suze's Sewing Insanity…. Our intention is that these 40 garments will be split up roughly like this:. 1 jacket or coat. 3 non sewing items. 10 free choice (Sarah has small girls who have a better social life than she does, Suze has a husband with an unnatural love of fancy dress. Bound to be a costume required of us at some point…). 4 Tough Love challenges – more of these later…. 4 responses ». January 12, 2012 at 9:59 pm. Can I join in? Fun with Sewing and Maths!

Mostly cycling and photos. Archive for the ·. Coast and Castles (Part 4). My landlady in Coldingham was quite concerned that I didn’t want a full cooked breakfast, and insisted on sending me off with sandwiches, crisps, tunnocks tea cakes and juice – which was very kind of her, especially as the breakfast was still a generous plate-full. The road then headed down for 5km of easy, fast, smile inducing rolling with an opening view of the coast and Torness power station. The payback came on turning inland, ...

Mostly cycling and photos. We had a very relaxing holiday in France, some paddling rather than any riding. I did take the camera though, so here’s a couple of pictures. Mostly cycling and photos. Archive for the ·. On the plus side, while I was pushing up I was level with a hovering skylark that was quite a long way above the ground below, but only a few meters from me. It isn’t often that they’re close enough to see. The flowers, butterflies and sheep were also all out. A couple of hours out that was very pleasant, and despite the closeness and stormy skies it didn’t rain. There was a nice view of Brighton, which shows the warm hazy and cloudy weather. It is an on-one.

I sew, I garden
I sew, I garden. Trying to live my passions. Friday, November 30, 2012. I'm sewing - undies! My first post in a very long time - I bought a new Babylock Imagine serger - Yay! What's not to like about a self-threading serger? I bought it because - wait for it - I became interested in sewing my lin gerie. Oh yes, to the pan ties I go, and the bra. I will follow Amy's Bra-making Sew Along on Clothhabit. It may take me longer to complete it, but I ordered the pattern she suggested, the Elan 645. How you see ...

Sewing Threads and Peanut Butter. This blog is all about my 2 passions, cooking and sewing. I will be posting my achievements as far as both are concerned. Saturday, September 10, 2011. I have been working a bit on a baby quilt for my niece. It was supposed to be a crib quilt, but I made it too big, so now it is between a toddler and a twin bed size :-) Oh well!
