The World of Bec. Regular (or maybe not so regular) updates on the life of a bored office worker with too much going on in her head! 200 word review: '31 Songs' by Nick Hornby. I had high hopes for this book. I’ve wanted to read it for a while, so was excited when I got it as a gift. I thought that, as someone who loves music, I’d find a book about songs interesting. Unfortunately, I feel a bit let down. Pot, kettle and black spring to mind. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). View my complete profile.

I bought this book mainly to just drool ...

The World of Bec: January 2010
http://worldofbec.blogspot.com/2010_01_01_archive.html
The World of Bec. Regular (or maybe not so regular) updates on the life of a bored office worker with too much going on in her head! Sorry I've not blogged much recently, but I'm afraid that's the way it'll stay for a while. I recently enrolled on an Open University course and, despite the fact that it hasn't even started, I'm already drowning in preparatory reading. I'll try to check in every once in a while, but updates will be few and far between! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). View my complete profile.

The World of Bec. Regular (or maybe not so regular) updates on the life of a bored office worker with too much going on in her head! Stash Wars: THE cardigan. Yes, tis true, the cardigan is finished! Only it didn't go quite to plan . The pattern is from 'Stitch'n'Bitch: The Knitter's Handbook' by Debbie Stoller and is called the 'Go Everywhere, Go with Everything Cardi'. Those who have the book will know where I've gone wrong - it's meant to be waist-length! Not bad, eh? Labels: Crafty world of Bec.

As you can imagine, I've had very little time for anything else. Knitting etc has ground to a complete halt, except for my occasional attempt to unravel the disaster cardigan. In cat news, Millie had to have an operation recently so we had the joy of listening to her lick the inside of a cone for nearly two weeks while her stitches healed, bu...
