Jack of all crafts...: June 2011
http://jackofallcrafts.blogspot.com/2011_06_01_archive.html
Saturday, 4 June 2011. A sad place to be. We lost our little Ellie yesterday at the grand old age of 17. After a short illness, she decided enough was enough and stopped eating. We had to make the heartbreaking decision to have her put to sleep. New patchwork cushion cover! Sleeping on my denim patchwork quilt. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Sites you may like to visit. Jack of all crafts...: December 2010
http://jackofallcrafts.blogspot.com/2010_12_01_archive.html
Sunday, 19 December 2010. Well, here we are again.a few more days and Christmas day will be upon us once again. In past years I've dreaded Christmas but this year even though I'm working full time.I'm ready! My Nan always used to say 'the more time you have, the less you want to do' and I know it's true. Given less time, I make use of every moment - it's amazing how much you can do in 10 minutes. So I'm feeling relaxed and excited about Christmas. Soft, fluffy barbed wire! See you next year. Delivering s...

Jack of all crafts...: February 2011
http://jackofallcrafts.blogspot.com/2011_02_01_archive.html
Tuesday, 15 February 2011. Valentines Day. Mmmmmmmmmm. These were waiting for me by my morning cuppa. The strangest thing. It's never happened before in 26 years. Should I be worried! Since I've become addicted to sewing in a serious way, I've coveted a Horn Cabinet. They are seriously expensive and provide the ultimate sewing experience. I put my bid on (I daren't tell you how much! Waited with baited breath until the auction finished and found myself the proud owner. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

N 1 material for quilts. 2. the act of making a quilt. 3. quilted work. While checking out other peoples blogs, I came across this wonderful blog that gives a tutorial for a ' quilt as you go. Quilt This would be the perfect way of making a huge quilt that would have to be quilted either by hand or by a professional quilter. It's also a great way of using up your scraps. Jack of all crafts...: November 2010
http://jackofallcrafts.blogspot.com/2010_11_01_archive.html
Saturday, 20 November 2010. It's been a while. You may know that it was a BIG birthday for me this year. I was given loads of lovely presents and had a FAB-U-LOUS birthday on the beach. One of my presents from my Mum was a workshop at the wonderful Art Van Go in Knebworth called 'Changing the Surface' . We started off with either brown paper or fabric and applied tissue paper, threads, string, skeletal leaves or fabric using either pva glue or thick gesso. We made four of these and left them to dry.
