Sewing Out of My Comfort Zone. Monday, August 17, 2015. Design Wall, W&G. I use my Wild and Goosey units as Leaders and Enders when I paper piece. Yesterday I started a new paper piecing quilt, so I started on W&G again. I need 17 more little W&G units to complete these 2 rows. Here's the new paper piecing project I'm working on. I predict this quilt will be outdated in 5 years, so I want to get the piecing done now, while the patterns are coming out, and get it quilted ASAP. Sunday, August 16, 2015.

Monday, October 28, 2013. Finished: Blue Herringbone Quilt. Numbers don't do well in my brain, but math is crucial in quilting. It's inescapable. I started cutting fabric for the Coral Herringbone Quilt. Used in a quilt she shared on Lily's Quilts. Pre-wash dimensions: 39 3/8"x 60 3/8". Batting: Warm and White from The Warm Company. Front Fabrics: Kona White, assorted solids. Back Fabric: Pearl Bracelets in baby blue. Quilting: Straight line quilting with the Janome Horizon 8900 QCP. Links to this post.
