Friday, January 8, 2016. I ended 2015 with another self drafted tutu for my daughter. I underlined the skirt with faux-leather knit and added several layers of mesh to make it "big". Fast forward a couple of days. I started my new year with Simplicity 1276. I used stash Scuba Knit and Ponte Knit in the construction of this dress. I didn't like the shiny side of the Scuba knit against the dull Ponte so I cut it inside out and I love it! I continued the color-blocking effect with a blue zipper.
