Way too many things to update you all on but I went through a spell where I was mainly crocheting. Notice a theme here, LOL. That's all I will say about that. Misses knit mini-dress, tunic, or top that can be made with a front twist or draped neckline with five different sleeve variations. I made view E which is the short sleeved draped neck top and I also added the ruching at the sides. 8-24, I cut a 14. Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it? Were the instructions easy to follow? A white mystery knit from my stash.

After my weekend of meeting Mimi and the other ladies, I have really been putting some time in my studio. I am very proud of myself. I have even started to draw again. Fitted dress with pleated bodice, front neckline finished with bias tape, back zipper, flared skirt and stitched hems. Available in 6-22; I cut a 14 bodice and graded to a 16 for the skirt. Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it? Back view (zipper omitted). Were the instructions easy to follow? View of inside with lining. Bottom Line: $6.37.

The only changes I made were using a light weight ribbed knit. I had thought about doing 3/4 sleeves but I opted to go ahead with full length. Misses Day or Evening Dress in two lengths with bodice variations. I made view C which is full length with a halter neck. Available in 6-22. I destroyed the memory stick that held all of my sewing plans, data on my fabric purchases, as well as pictures for my portfolio, pattern wishlist, everything sewing related. One minute it was sticking out of the side of my laptop, the next it was in pieces. I was horrified. It was all I could do not to cry. So you know the bottom line calculation at the end of my posts? Lined, flared, floor length dress (shaped hemline), close-fitting at bust, has back zipper, neck ruffle and bodice front extending to form neckline drape. Gathered drape is sewn over empire waist seam. Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it? After all the hours I put into it, it had better.
