124; Comments RSS. It’s May —. Posted on May 6, 2009. And in our house, that means BASEBALL. I’ve been doing a little sewing, I had a rather large upholstery job that took about three weeks, so I’m getting ready to quilt and sew again. My Gammill hasn’t been cooperating, and hopefully I’ll have it back tomorrow, but what a frustrating machine, I think I got a lemon, so I haven’t been enjoying it as I should. Hope my progress picks up, or they may be picking it up. I will keep you updated on my progress.

Friday, 31 July 2015. Kaffe fasset quilt and magazine. This quilt has been on the go for my mum for some time and finally it's almost done. Just the binding to go. I was quite nervous about having it professionally machine quilted as I always hand quilt. I needn't have been, I just love love love it. The lady who quilted it is Helen from www.helenhoriginals.co.nz. A fewquite a few pictures taken in the lovely sunshine today. For me to look at after it's posted off! Until next time,. I got my long arm, and I can tell you it wasn’t what I expected. I’ve only quilted 10 quilts on it. I was having big tension problems, that try as I might I couldn’t fix. For a few years now I have loved seeing the Schnibbles parades and have always wanted to join in, but I just wasn't quick enough to complete my top in time! Well this year I am trying again :).
