Postpartum Quilter: August 2011
http://postpartumquilter.blogspot.com/2011_08_01_archive.html
Wednesday, August 31, 2011. A Belated {Virtual Coffee}. I'm sorry that I'm late for our Virtual Coffee date- but there's a very good reason. Her name is IRENE. (As in Hurricane Irene). By the time she reached us late Saturday night, she was downgraded to a Tropical Storm- but believe you me- she was still plenty scary! And still did PLENTY of damage! Did you get hit by the storm? Or feel any of its effects? At the moment, my family and I (and the dog, too! Are staying in the comforts of a Holiday Inn.

Postpartum Quilter: October 2011
http://postpartumquilter.blogspot.com/2011_10_01_archive.html
Thursday, October 20, 2011. Right now, I'm involved in a very fun Scrappy Swap. See button in sidebar) hosted by Kat of Diary of a Flutter Kat: A Mumma's Time to Create. I decided to make a scrappy moleskine journal cover with inside pockets for her. I was using 2 tutorials simultaneously and adjusting for the size of the journal. So the first run was an experiment, with many technical flaws that needed tweaking. Trial Run: Scrappy Moleskine Journal cover. Back side is on Left, front cover is on Right).

http://postpartumquilter.blogspot.com/2012/02/mouthy-stitches-mega-pouch.html
Tuesday, February 28, 2012. Mouthy Stitches Mega Pouch. Well, it's been a while since I've posted, due to an unexpected and unforeseen backslide in my postpartum depresssion. (Although truthfully, at this point, I am probably technically past the "postpartum" period since my youngest is now 4 1/2 years old. I guess it's time to accept the fact that this is chronic depression.). But anyway, onto the quilty creation. I've been participating in the Mouthy Stitches Swap. Lining and zipper ends. Hoping to be ...

Postpartum Quilter: The Wisdom of Kids
http://postpartumquilter.blogspot.com/2012/03/wisdom-of-kids.html
Monday, March 5, 2012. The Wisdom of Kids. Last night, I gave the kids a bath in their bathroom. (We usually do baths in our bathroom, which has a larger tub). While my 9 year old daughter was still in the bath, I ran downstairs to grab something. She called down to me saying she was hearing some loud banging noises. As I went to investigate, I noticed multiple spots dripping from the dining room hallway ceiling. Well, my daughter proceeded to prove science, common sense (and me) wrong! Hope the leak did...
