Monday, December 31, 2012. The other day my Squish looked at himself in the mirror for the first time. It happened to be a low mirror, and he was standing up (with my help, of course), so he didn't see his face - only that beautiful chubby little body, earnest strength under dimply softness. It made me cut up perfectly luscious Kona cotton. Then it made me sew it all back together again. All the pins I'd collected over the years were crowding a very small wallhanging.
