I have so much to tell you. It's been far too long since my last post, but as everyone knows, there are things you don't want to share, and things that you only want to share when the time is right. Appetizers at Giacomo's in Boston's North End. Pasta with seafood at Giacomo's. ASDP had posted an article about a program, Open Arms.

I made the table in two halves so they can be easily separated and moved when needed. (I foresee sewing/crafting get-togethers where these will need to be moved to the living room). Each base is a 2 x 4 cube Kallax unit. Set horizontally with 3 pairs of casters. Each top is a 78 3/4x23 5/8 " Linnmon table top.

Sewing, knitting, dyeing and living in Austin, TX and as much traveling as possible. Software techie and professional seamstress. View my complete profile. Monday, May 4, 2015. I am ready to go home. I've had a great time and saw quite a few friends, but I miss Wayne and the girls. I made a stop at Lauduree and the bakery for my dinner and tomorrow's breakfast, then back to the ...

This year's ASDP conference was in Nashville, TN. Everyone who went commented on how much 'cuddlier' this conference was, and new members said they felt very welcome and already a part of the crew. I am a lucky, lucky girl. Me and Kenneth King. Just a few photos from the weekend- I will add more as everything sinks in:.

Musings on my fabric-based experimentation, projects successful and not-so, dreams and plans. Friday, April 3, 2015. A few weeks ago I sewed a sweater top for myself, in the midst of the epic winter of February/March 2015, where in the Northeast we had 10 weekends in a row with measurable snowfall. I brought home the last cut of Avalon cotton sweater knit from work at Sawyer Brook, and matched it with McCalls 6796. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). View my complete profile. Musings on my fabric-based experimentation, projects successful and not-so, dreams and plans. Wednesday, February 3, 2016. An abundance of Lilly Pulitzer! I described the kind of sewing I prefer to do, stressing that unless there were cost restrictions, I always put back what I find, meaning the garment is reconstructed using the original techniques. She was comfortable enough with my answers that she arranged to bring me some items to work on. Dresses, skirts and pants. If you've never seen this des...

Not that I havent been sewing (actually very little, since I just got back from vacation.) Its about something new I just discovered in the RTW fashion thats available. I finished a pair of jeans for myself last week, the second Ive made from the old Sandra Betzina pattern.
