Sew what's up?

Sunday, May 10, 2009. Hope everyone has a lovely day! I really enjoyed the March and April fab shop hops. In March I won a $10 gift certificate to Heart of Dixie Quilt Shop. I used it to buy some of the "I Love you Zoo" fabric I'm going to use in the baby quilt I have to sew (soon, I don't know when they'll have the shower). The next Hop starts June 1, if you like to browse fabric stores online this will be a blast (or very expensive! Or am I just whacky? Stitched by Lisa Knight. Links to this post.

Sew what's up?: Halloween Costumes

http://sewwhatsup.blogspot.com/2008/09/halloween-costumes.html

Sunday, September 21, 2008. How cute are these! I am giving them until the end of September to decide what they want to be, just so I have plenty of time to get them done! I'm not sure what they are even interested in for Halloween. Neither one of them has said a word. I'm hoping the Prince will be obvious, Football player. I can only hope! I'm sure the Princess will want to be a Princess, but we do have fairy wings already. Stitched by Lisa Knight. Where I think it belongs holiday. Keep up with me!

Sew what's up?: Today's projects

Saturday, December 13, 2008. I couldn't believe it, the bandana skirt. Is now doll clothes. The Princess has a large Dora doll and it fits her perfectly. Of course my Princess is a petite thing and it still fits her waist, it just isn't even close to appropriate length! I made my first 3D paper snow flake, just as a trial and error. Didn't need to it's so simple and looks so beautiful. here. Are some good tutorials. I have some 2 sided wrapping paper that I am going to make some out of next!

Sew what's up?: August 2008

http://sewwhatsup.blogspot.com/2008_08_01_archive.html

Monday, August 11, 2008. I used the Simple Dishcloths. Pattern to make this. I am making sets of these for a shower this weekend and for my sister's b-day coming up in a week. I got this easy pattern from Crochet Pattern Central. There were lots of choices, I think I went with one that was really simple, mostly because I need to crank out a few in a short period of time. I made 2 last night. I hope to do 2 more tonight while watching the olympics! Stitched by Lisa Knight. 2 Fantastic people left feedback!

Sew What's Next?

Tuesday, May 15, 2012. In the Making: Box Wallets. I've been MIA for a little while. Work (my real job) has been ramping up and it is a bit insane. May and June are pretty busy months for me and it seems it gets worse every single year. Sigh! But no chatting about work. Blah! So last week I spent a bunch of time cutting and pressing a bunch of Box Wallets. I made a few for my last craft fair, and they were hot sellers. And interestingly enough, my sister's favorite item. So cutting I did! Nice stack, huh?

Sew, What's Next? | a novice sewer's adventure in an intermediate sewer's world

Sew, What's Next? A novice sewer's adventure in an intermediate sewer's world. Valentine’s Day Crafts {over}Done. All I can say is “Phew! 8221; Another holiday is almost over. I finally get to relax with the hubby tonight after many hours crafting for Bean, her friends, and her school. As always, I tend to over do, bite off more than I can chew, or whatever you want to call it. Would I have it any other way? My little model, Bean, is sporting a new 2-layer skirt pattern. She’s so skinny that I ...I love ...

Sooooo. how special do I feel? Oh, the sewing projects I can do! I've heard it's fancy too. (Hey, that rhymed! How could you NOT love ...

Sew What?

Les Blogs d’inspiration. Tutorial: Sippy Cup Leash. August 13, 2015. Ribbon 1 yard, velcro, D ring, lighter and usual sewing supplies. 1 Cut the ribbon into 2 pieces: 12″ (30cm) and 24″ long (60cm). I am using inches here because the ribbons I bought is sold by yards and I wanted about x and 2x in length. 2 Lightly brush the ends of the ribbon against the lighted lighter to prevent fraying. Be careful not to burn the ribbon. 9 C’est fini! For those who understands Mandarin, you can also refer to the vide...
