Sunday, April 24, 2011. And this is what the Easter bunny brought for the kids. Her name is Ginny the Guinea Pig. Our church had their Easter egg hunt last Sunday. There were hunderds of eggs! We also played a few games including a sack race, dizzy bat, and egg baseball. We tried to play the egg and spoon race but apparently the eggs I bought were unbreakable! Monday, April 11, 2011. What's Been Going On. During Spring Break a few weeks ago, we all went down to my parent's lakehouse in Hot Springs. We had one warm, sunny day that we were able to spend on the lake, but the other days were cold and rainy. We also got to up the Hot Springs tower. Ladies' Night and Day 2011. Every spring our church has a retreat at Camp Wyldewood in Searcy. This is something that we put on our calendar and look forward to for months! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

Monday, September 6, 2010. We also got to see some wildlife. We released Mousy today right before we left expecting him to run off into the tall grass. Instead he ran up a tree. None of us knew that mice climbed trees, but now we do. I have said many times how much I love Micah's family and feel love from them as well. Saturday, October 31, 2009. Today we carved our pumpkin to make a "nice, not scary" (as Julie described it) jack-o-lantern. It was a lot of fun watching Julie help Daddy with the pumpkin. Aaron and I watched mostly but it won't be long before he's in the middle of the action as well. After the jack-o-lantern was complete, Ben and Julie made a pumpkin pie. Monday, March 1, 2010. My sister Robin and her husband Chris had their first baby last week! Corbin Lee Humes was born on Thursday, Feb. 25th. He was 8lbs 1oz and 21 inches long. And he's such a cutie! We spent last weekend over in Benton with everyone and are going back this weekend. We can't get enough of the little guy! Julie and Aaron had a blast getting to know their newest little cousin. These kiddos are going to have such a great time together when they get a little older. March 1, 2010 at 5:16 PM.

Friday, July 31, 2015. I'm playing catch up a little on the blog today. July was a blur -. Wheat harvest began early and caught us hustling at work. We celebrated Lindsay's bachelorette party as tourists in Seattle, and I got to see the Clancy cousins during a work trip to Minneapolis. Clint hustled at the ranch, but I felt like I was hardly around to help. Bev turned 80 and I got my first chance to ride the Sternwheeler. A lot of firsts and a great month that I hope we get to experience again next year.
