Wednesday, January 14, 2009. Oaks girls take Vegas by storm! Mom surprised all of us girls with a trip to Las Vegas for Christmas! We were very lucky to have a lot of great support from family during Caleb's first year of playing. Summer 2012 {part 1}. This year has flown by at a crazy.insane.make it stop kinda pace. My babies are growing up right before my eyes. And I don't like it. So here it goes. In no particular order. We went to Busch Gardens the beginning of August. It was SO MUCH FUN! Noah loved the water. He had a blast at the sprayground and LOVED the observation deck at the water log ride. After our super fun day at Busch Gardens we decided to head just a little farther east and hit the beach. Why did we wait 2 years to go? I don't know. These kids LOVED it. Myles and Noah have never seen the ocean and they had such a great time. We all spent hours playing in the water and digging in the sand. So fun. The boys @ the beach. He loved the feel of the sand. So much fun drawing in the sand. Seriously. How cute is this? Pretty much the luckiest mom ever. Maybe some more sunscreen next time?

Tuesday, January 12, 2010. We did it, we got a dog! Introducing Max Tank Prince! He is a cute, fiesty, puppy full of love. Max is a plott hound/lab mix with beautiful green eyes! He is the most social dog you could ever meet, but with all the puppy tendancies like bitting, peeing when we are gone, and chewing on a few things here and there. I will start with June. This year I was so blessed to be able to homeschool Myles. He just completed Kindergarten! He did amazing and I am so proud of him and all he has accomplished. He receives ABA therapy four times a week and it can sometimes be pretty intense around here but he has grown leaps and bounds. I am really excited for next year :). We made an awesome Summer To Do List as this will probably be our last summer in the DC area. Lots of fun planned. Bummer about the little guys leg.

Friday, February 14, 2014. The past few months have been a whirlwind! BYU Bowl game, trip to UT for Jeremy's birthday, VIP Tour of Gilbert Temple with Pres. (Elder) Walker, Hawaii (pictures in another post), and the Sedona Marathon (really a 5k this year, but I ran it twice). Not a great Sedona picture with people in the background and all, but we take what we can get. Im going to have to see if you put pictures of Hawaii on Facebook. It looks like you were VIPs at the bowl game too. FUN! Kulia i ka nu'u.
