This is My "Real" Blog: October 2006

Sunday, October 29, 2006. Reunited, and it felt not-so-bad, actually. Where did twenty years go? Poor Richard's, or "PR's" as we called it, offers Maxine's sweet iced tea. I have never met a tea (herbal or otherwise) that I like, so I drank a Diet Pepsi (with one refill). And yes, Melany, it did keep me up half the night. The remainder of the weekend consisted of small and large gatherings with the Milligan College Class of 1986. These pictures were taken Friday night at Poor Richard's. My advice: Don't ...

Monday, April 30, 2007. Oh and a new layout! I have never posted four times in one day. . .until now! I got a few free minutes tonight, and created a layout of Caroline from the wedding weekend. Remember that? Here she is. . .she takes my breath away! Posted by Angie at 11:54 PM. Links to this post. First Day of School. . .whatever. Caroline's first day of preschool went without a hitch - but not without a few tears. . . mine. I thought I'd let her tell you about her first day. It took a few minutes for ...

Saturday, March 31, 2007. Who Wants a Clean House? Time to clean out the junk in my house. Yes, I did previously blog about this. But, in less than a month, we will celebrate Caroline's birthday. That means visits from various family members. . .including Nana and Papa and Uncle Steve and Aunt Bettie. Granted, they are used to seeing/experiencing my house in its usual disarray. But, today, for some reason, I am compelled to. It's official. I'm a mean mother. Posted by Angie at 2:07 PM. Links to this post.

Tuesday, May 29, 2007. Back from the Abyss. Last week was very interesting. I was starting to wonder what I had done to deserve all that I endured. (not really, but after a while, you start to get paranoid). Caroline is much better following two visits to the pediatrician. The antibiotics are nearly gone. That's always a happy day. . .when that bottle is empty and thrown away. I'm really not drinking 3 gallons of water every day - but it sure feels like it! At the very moment that we discovered this - I ...

Tuesday, February 27, 2007. As you Wish. . . I guess my seven-day hiatus left a few people in the dark (including my in-laws). Sorry. . . it's been a week! On Wednesday of last week, I was called to pick up Caroline early from daycare. She was running a low-grade fever. Nothing serious. When I went to pick up Edison a few hours later, I experienced a stomach cramp like I've never experienced. . . except for that time when I had that kidney stone. . . Yep, you guessed it! Here are a few layouts I worked o...
