With God’s grace, we are now blessed with. Students, 21 teachers and 12 staff members for this school year. Here are some photos of the students on their first day. Stories to share from the St. Francis of Assisi School in Silay Community. Monday, July 27, 2015. Last July 10, the Grade 5 students had a whole day Recollection at Domus Dei in Silay City. They had their Confession on July 9 at the school prayer house. Brother Arnold Pendon Demapanag and Brother Joemar Marifosque of the Sacred Heart Seminary facilitated the Grade 5 students. Activities included Drawing, Group Sharing, Film Showing (Inside Out), Mass and a quick visit to the Elderly Priests.

The Book Lover's Club had a storytelling activity at the school library last July 18. The club is headed by the librarian, Ms. May Santillan, and is composed of 20 members from grade 4 to grade 10. We started the storytelling activity by reading three series from “The Wonderful Wizard of Oz” books. Written by Marlyn Bernasol, Grade 10-Hope.
