Community Lunch | Brightworks: An Extraordinary School

Year 1: The Beginning. Year 2: Concept to Implementation. Lunch is a cornerstone of the Brightworks experience that fosters community and connects children to a deeper understanding of the myriad issues surrounding food production, preparation and consumption. We involve kids at every stage of the process – from butchering a pig and making cheese, setting tables, and chopping vegetables, to serving each other, enjoying conversations, and cleaning up when the meal is over.
