It always makes the ride interesting and informative. Good morning radio choices guys. Of course almost everytime I'm in a cab in the afternoon, he's listening to some right-wing bizarro call in show. Fortunately, I almost never take cabs in the afternoon. DC Cab Rider: December 2005

Tuesday, December 27, 2005. Why Didn't I Write Down the Cab Info? Some months ago, during evening rush hour, I hailed a cab and needed to go from my office on the Hill to a friend's dinner party off of New Mexico Ave. It's a long ways, I grant you, but the number of buses I'd have to take to get there would take far too long. Has anyone else had this problem - cabbies that refuse to take you where you need to go? And how have you handled it? Posted by DC Cab Rider @ 2:26 PM. Monday, December 26, 2005.

Friday, March 31, 2006. The question he was trying to ask me? Is the music too loud? Posted by DC Cab Rider @ 8:00 PM. Tuesday, March 28, 2006. How much is that fare again? I know there's a fee for calling a cab. And I do that on mornings when I just know I'll be late otherwise and I'm desparately trying to make a meeting. My regular cost is $11 ; $12 for rush hour. I've been charged $13, $14 and today $15 for a cab that has come to pick me up. Posted by DC Cab Rider @ 12:58 PM. Tuesday, March 21, 2006.

Wednesday, May 31, 2006. Zone vs. Meters - Take 2. As a passenger, I'm torn. On days when I'm just going a few blocks in a rush to get something done, then it's annoying paying $6.50. On the other hand, I was stuck in traffic behind an accident a couple of weeks ago and it turned what is usually a 15 min. trip into a 30 minute one. If I was a tourist, I'd probably hate the zone system, because without understanding where the zones begin/end, I'd be at the mercy of the drivers. Friday, May 26, 2006. He sa...

Saturday, January 21, 2006. Another Blown Call - Yellow Cab. Did you know you can arrange for a cab on yellow cab's online site? Isn't 45 minutes enough lead time? I am trying to get a lot of work done before the weekend, and I can't sit by the phone to wait for that call. I just want to walk out of my office and find a cab there at 9, as I asked. Posted by DC Cab Rider @ 9:09 AM. Monday, January 16, 2006. It's always good to be noticed, so thank you DC Blogs. For mentioning my new venture. So I finally ...
