Tuesday, May 28, 2013. Wandering in the West, 2013, Colorado, part 2. On Tuesday, May 21, while waiting for more truck information, we decided we would drive to Loveland, CO, north and west of Denver, to find the Colorado Whispering Giant. We didn't have very detailed information on it's location, just "west of Loveland on US 34 standing in a field". Denver is just like any other big city, except it's a mile high, and the home of the Broncos. And sure enough, there it was just like it was supposed to be.

Friday, April 26, 2013. Wandering West, 2013, Austin, TX. We left B.A. Steinhagen Lake's Sandy Creek campground on Saturday the 20th. Jack, the GPS, was programmed for Georgetown, TX. Off we went, still no functioning AC, but the temps were cool enough not to need it. Paul is on the faculty of Austin Theological Seminary and Pat is busy making their new house into a lovely home and getting involved in various volunteer organizations in the area.
