My new job has a FREE gym membership as part of the health insurance plan. Which actually makes sense. If your workers exercise and eat better, then they probably won’t need as much health care! Sunday, October 30, 2005. In my small group, we have been studying Ephesians. This week we discussed the first verses of chapter 4. We are going to study the rest of it in 2 weeks, but I reread this chapter again today. Holy mackerel (a fish that is like Swiss cheese, pudge). I never realized the second part of 4:29. But only what is good for building others up according to their needs, so that it may benefit those who listen! I was so convicted by this. And everyone around me knew exactly what I meant?

Monday, December 26, 2005. Celebrate Good Times, come on! Even as I spoke, I wondered how many meals were being shared, and how many people were angry and fighting (ala National Lampoons Christmas Vacation), how many families were sharing a "holiday" meal, and just how many people were celebrating without knowing the true reason for the whole thing! I missed the clip but it got me thinking, are we really as dumb as they think?
