http://quiltsbycheri.blogspot.com/2015/05/everyday-patchwork_19.html
Tuesday, May 19, 2015. I love the simplicity of this quilt and the border. May 19, 2015 at 12:37 PM. Ive been enjoying all the little blocks and great instructions too. May 19, 2015 at 1:13 PM. These blocks are beautiful. I am just now getting caught up on looking at the others as well. They have such a comforting look to them - like a hug on a rough day. May 19, 2015 at 8:26 PM. As a child I would spend hours cutting up grandma's old flour sacks and turn them into some sort of creation. I love rug hooking, stitching, reading and whatever else catches my eye. Me and my husband live on an acerage in Nebraska and have a one son. View my complete profile. Join Our Mailing List. Mennonite Girls Can Cook. Bread for the Journey. Comforts of the New Season! Rugtime: The Stuff Dreams Are Made Of
http://rugtime.blogspot.com/2010/01/stuff-dreams-are-made-of.html
A syncopation of notes on all that jazz that catches my eye and ear. Wednesday, January 13, 2010. The Stuff Dreams Are Made Of. I love poppy seeds. I still remember a poppy seed cake my aunt Elinor made at Grandma Jodie's decades ago. Ever since then, if it has a poppy seed in it, I'm on it. While checking out a delicious blog named Tartlette, I fell into this recipe for Lemon Poppy Seed Cake with Meyer Lemons. Need I say more? Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Reconstructed Fabulousness: January 2015
http://recondfab.blogspot.com/2015_01_01_archive.html
Thursday, 29 January 2015. It's hot, it's 8.00 pm and it's still hot, hot, hot even the other residents at this abode have taken cover. Aaahhhh, a shady spot and a fancy drinking bowl for me too. Doing what cat's do best my not so helpful helper Louis. Think I might just have to go lay down under this shady ole oak tree. Or maybe inside the castle would be nice and cool. Still it was a lovely day today for #1 daughter to start her first day at high school, one down and one to go next Tuesday Hoo Wah.

The Middle Sister: August 2014
http://themiddlesister.blogspot.com/2014_08_01_archive.html
Friday, August 29, 2014. Hooked Rugs and Quilts. I finished whipping the edge of my star table runner with black yarn and have it on my kitchen table. Found a few goodies to display with it, but will try to find more to spiff it up a bit more. It had a label on the back with a touch of applique - inspires me to be better at labeling my quilts! This one was really nice too - that stripe on the inner border looks good. So all five of my blocks are completed now. Four more to go - - -. On Tuesday I attended...

Reconstructed Fabulousness: July 2015
http://recondfab.blogspot.com/2015_07_01_archive.html
Friday, 31 July 2015. It's already in it's 5th year and I didn't even know until today. I'm a day late here in NZ as it's made it to the 31st. Thank goodness for facebook alerts from later timezones, where it's still the 30th, for drawing my attention to this auspicious day. The 30th of July is also World Embroidery Day. An initiative started by the Swedish Embroidery Guild. The celebration is growing in momentum through the Global Embroidery Network. Here's a copy of the manifesto. A riot of colour.

Syd's Stitching Room: Sunday Afternoon
http://sydsstitchingroom.blogspot.com/2015/01/sunday-afternoon.html
Sunday, January 11, 2015. Good Afternoon and thanks for stopping by. It's a sunny one here in eastern Pennsylvania but cold. I finished stitching November Cottage by County Cottage Needleworks on Thursday evening. I'm pleased with the way it turned out. And, I did remember to give the turkey legs so that he looks a little more grounded. Next up is Bittersweet September by Blackbird Designs. I started this in October of 2013. This is my progress to date. January 12, 2015 at 9:05 AM. No Kitty Snuggle Day.
