Saturday, August 24, 2013. We went up the canyon and stayed in Brighton with my mom's family for the weekend. We had a lot of fun with everyone. There were games, charades, a karaoke night, an intense hike, a super fun game of scum, good food and good company. Allie fell asleep as soon as we started and this strong man of mine carried her the whole way. One of my favorite pictures of all time! We all made it! Generally, I tend to let politics go their own way, and I go mine. Apparently a certain President-wanna-be thinks we should stop funding PBS. Now I'm angry. Who doesn't like Big Bird? Colby and Dani.Happily Ever After Since February 7, 1997. Wednesday, November 21, 2012. I love/hate driving on the freeway. Love that it is sometimes a faster way to get from A to B. HATE that the always stellar Utah driver skills (*caught the sarcasm, right.*) seem to plummet to absolute zero on the freeway, however. Today a huge Chevy Suburban cut right in front of me, attempting to fit where even a Geo Metro would be a tight squeeze. And that's not all. It had a BYU sticker too!

Colby and Dani.Happily Ever After Since February 7, 1997. Monday, March 25, 2013. Where did we come from? I am not heavily into ancestry or family history. However, I am always fascinated by "stories of old.". I love hearing about the places my family came from, how they lived, what they did, etc. Were they anything like me? Did they hate anything dealing with mathematics? Did they love reading and languages? Did they hate spiders? I am always intrigued by their names. Did they have a nickname?

Colby and Dani.Happily Ever After Since February 7, 1997. Monday, December 10, 2012. I have a new niece, and she is lovely! Berkeley Keely Lance. Arrived on 12-10-12 at 8:59 pm weighing 7 pounds, 6 ounces. Unfortunately, I do not have a picture of her, for two reasons:. 1- One of us was too busy holding the baby to take a picture,. 2- The other was too busy being gimpy on crutches to take a picture! She is soooo cute, trust me. Congratulations, Stephie and Travis, you have a beautiful baby girl!

Tuesday, April 30, 2013. Big Brother and Little Sister. These two are just the cutest ever! Monday, April 15, 2013. Saturday, April 13, 2013. My brother, Travis married his gorgeous bride, Cathy on April 12th. It was a beautiful wedding with a nice dinner and dancing afterwards. Vince of course loved the dancing and danced with most of his aunts. Welcome to the family Cathy we're so excited to have you as a sister/aunt! Vince has really been into dinosaurs lately. He loves the show Dinosaur Train. So, for his 2nd birthday we took him to the Dinosaur Museum at Thanksgiving Point. He loved it! He was a little scared of the big dinosaurs but other than that he loved it! Look what Daddy and Vince made. Happy Birthday to my sweet boy, Vince!
