With one week away from The Last Chance Marathon I wanted my last long run to be on trails as I have limited experience off road. So this run was not about mileage, but time in the trenches so to speak. I have heard about the "Gulch" for a while among the ESNW. Google Group emails. So I decided to check it out. The Japanese Gulch. And here I go . So It was sluggish run today ....

My excellent running adventures. Nutrition and other stuff by SGF. Sunday, April 15, 2012. Alger Alp 25K race Report. I completed the 25k option of the 5k/25k/50k Alger Alp trail run. Part of the Bellingham Trail Run running series today. It was the first race up Alger, it's cool I had an opportunity to run it. My excellent running adventures. Nutrition and other stuff by SGF. Saturday, July 28, 2012. I got spooked by my own shadow lol. Oh well. I though that was funny. SGF was awesome and stayed up to come extract me. Easy pickup as I sent her ahead my final location. Avoided some of the confusion we had on some other pickups before!
