Now that I am on a "Yes we finally made it through the open-class parent evaluation day" high and now I feel like I'm relaxed enough to finally update my blog. Today the parents of our students came in to watch us teach and, miracle of miracles, they apparently liked me. *Breaths out deeply* Successful lesson full of Pronouns, kinetic energy, potential energy, and slingshots. The seats are not very comfortable. But going back to Red Square.

Thursday, January 30, 2014. Well, I've finally made it to St. Petersburg and am settled in with my host family. However, I know if I don't give my mother a play-by-play of what's happened up to this point, there will be hell to pay . (Love you Mom). My first day gone, I spent a total of 14 hours total on a plane. Our first trip from SLC to Chicago was about 3 hours long, and Chicago was almost as cold as it is here in Russia. This was Me, Megan and Miranda just before our 14 hours of impending doom.
