With everything else I was going through at the time, I think I really never took the time to grieve. I stuffed everything into a little velvet sack, and said I’d open it later. Sigh. It’s later. Codependence, caretaking, and self-discovery. Just keep swimming…. January 30, 2013. Hubby yells too, but everyone ignores the guy who can’t get out of bed. Except me. I know exactly what he needs. I have the routine down. It isn’t much. Breakfast, coffee, ice for his pop, and then lunch, ice, then dinner, ice. He has a shower when he can, since surgeries and open wounds aren’t conducive to soaking in water. But he ate well this morning, and I’m back on track, so now the world is right side up. Sigh.
