Art and Shakespeare: Abstract Madness Art

http://www.shakespeareart.blogspot.com/2011/12/abstract-madness-art.html

Thursday, December 1, 2011. Here are a couple interpretation pieces about madness based on Erik's lesson plan. The first one's imagery is sort of inspired by the quote from Hamlet that says, "O, that this too too solid flesh would melt, Thaw, and resolve itself to dew! The second is more inspired by the De Stjil movement and color field painters (although I used a secondary color as one of my main four - gasp! December 1, 2011 at 2:08 PM. Art and Shakespeare: Acts IV and V

http://www.shakespeareart.blogspot.com/2011/12/acts-iv-and-v.html

Thursday, December 8, 2011. Acts IV and V. O, this is the poison of deep grief; it springs. All from her father's death. O Gertrude, Gertrude,. When sorrows come, they come not single spies. But in battalions. First, her father slain:. Next, your son gone; and he most violent author. Of his own just remove: the people muddied,. Thick and unwholesome in their thoughts and whispers,. For good Polonius' death; and we have done but greenly,. In hugger-mugger to inter him: poor Ophelia. Acts IV and V.

Art and Shakespeare: Deviating Globally

http://www.shakespeareart.blogspot.com/2011/12/deviating-globally.html

Wednesday, December 7, 2011. Our gallery of art now exists in two places at once. How you might ask? Well, here on our blog we have all of our works of art, and also on Deviantart.com with our cool new account. It took quite a while to upload all of the pictures to the website but it is worth it. We had not had our pictures up for five minutes before we got feedback that three or so of the pictures were already posted to other peoples "favorite" wall. Talk about an ego booster. Art and Shakespeare: YouTube and Other Videos

http://www.shakespeareart.blogspot.com/2011/12/youtube-and-other-videos.html

Thursday, December 8, 2011. YouTube and Other Videos. Our introductory video is now up and running on YouTube! Here is the link: http:/ www.youtube.com/watch? While I was uploading our video, I came across some other videos about teaching Shakespeare as well as art and Shakespeare, and I thought this one. Was interesting because it was sort of like ours (trying to get people to go to another website in order to learn more). Through watching this video I was directed to a Folger Shakespeare website.

Not Really Erroneous: Much To Do

http://bendixsenmelanie232.blogspot.com/2012/03/much-to-do.html

Wednesday, March 28, 2012. And not wanting to do any of it. I ended up beginning Much Ado About Nothing (MAAN) while procrastinating my waking moment of getting out of bed last Saturday morning. The first act is behind me, leaving the rest of the play with high expectations. With the way it began you can tell there is a lot going to happen! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Not Really Erroneous: May 2012

http://bendixsenmelanie232.blogspot.com/2012_05_01_archive.html

Friday, May 25, 2012. Seeing as school is out for the Summer you may be curious as to why I haven't been posting about my Shakespeare readings. The reason is that I haven't been reading Shakespeare. I know, I'm lame and all that. But I just made a summer goal to keep this blog alive and with it my love of Shakespeare (because I really do love reading Shakespeare). Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Not Really Erroneous: Reminisce on Shakespeare Class

http://bendixsenmelanie232.blogspot.com/2012/08/reminisce-on-shakespeare-class.html

Wednesday, August 15, 2012. Reminisce on Shakespeare Class. Lovers of Shakespeare performance. This performance was really exciting because students like me not only wrote it but produced it and did a good job. And since I saw the whole process from beginning to end it was very satisfying to see this last performance in person. Loves Labours, a documentary. And here you have had the proof! For more info on the play you can visit their blog: Lovers of Shakespeare. Im glad to see youve got your blog still ...

Not Really Erroneous: Shakespeare and Apathy Don't Mesh

http://bendixsenmelanie232.blogspot.com/2012/08/shakespeare-and-apathy-dont-mesh.html

Monday, August 13, 2012. Shakespeare and Apathy Don't Mesh. Sadly, the Library asked for its book back. But that doesn't mean I'm done with Twelfth Night. Far from it! I intend to finish it soon and enjoy every last bit of it. This means you have good posts to look forward to. :). In the meantime an old notebook was discovered on my shelf in which I found a page titled Shakespeare and Apathy Don't Mesh. The reasons are clearly stated as follows:. Well, first a few points on apathy in general. With the ex...

Not Really Erroneous: Twelfth Night, Here I Come!

http://bendixsenmelanie232.blogspot.com/2012/06/twelfth-night-here-i-come.html

Thursday, June 21, 2012. Twelfth Night, Here I Come! I have made a plan! I want to get Twelfth Night from the library and start reading it. My scheme is, since I've read the play before, to do as I did with Hamlet. By creating artwork out of whatever strikes my fancy. You know, anything that inspires some creative art-making. I enjoyed this play the first time so I'm excited to jump back into Shakespeare and get started! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). View my complete profile. The Merchant of Venice.

Not Really Erroneous: Some Quotes For You

http://bendixsenmelanie232.blogspot.com/2012/07/july-30-2012.html

Monday, July 30, 2012. Some Quotes For You. I was recently applying for an online scholarship with four short answer essay questions. One of the questions reads: What would you like on your epitaph? I know, slightly strange for a scholarship question, but they wanted the judging to be enjoyable and interesting. My first thoughts turned to a quote from Shakespeare. So I scoured the web, identifying some interesting quotes. Should I use a funny quote? Or something more meaningful? Which we ascribe to Heaven.

Not Really Erroneous: Think before you Act

http://bendixsenmelanie232.blogspot.com/2013/04/think-before-you-act.html

Monday, April 22, 2013. Think before you Act. I am a college student at BYU. This naturally means that I am working toward marriage. Whenever that happens doesn't matter to me right now. I am focused on getting my education. But the bug going around is "get married" and nearly everyone seems to have it. If they don't, they must think about it all the time to try and avoid it! Anyway, I realized today that my post on seeing The Tempest. So I can see that if you are asking you can get that answer, sometime...
