Nicholas Mann wins Gold. Students of Master Chen Zhonghua competed in the 2011 Canadian Taiji Open Championships on Nov. 12th. This tournament is one of the largest Taiji tournaments in Canada and Master Chen’s Taiji family did extremely well in all areas of competition. Practical Method captured 7 medals in total. Gold Medal Moving Step Push Hands (140 lbs 155 lbs),. Silver Medal Other Form Yilu. Nick also up-challenged the gold medalist of the weight class above his and he won with flying colors.

Nicholas Mann is a Chen Style Tai Chi practitioner and instructor who lives in Guelph Ontario. His exposure to Tai Chi over the past four years has been comprehensive as well as thorough. Since beginning formal Tai Chi instruction in Victoria in 2006, Nicholas has been to China twice, both times to participate in three month long residential training courses offered at the Daqingshan Mountain Resort.
