Monday, March 14, 2011. The girls are doing very well. Maggie and Mary now know about 30 signs! They are not perfect, of course, but they clearly know the words and try to sign as best as their little hands and arms can. Their newest signs are Cold, Hot, Elephant, Dirty, Clean, Stop, Go, Wait (which is great when I am asking them to be patient and wait, they start signing it and it buys me some time! Friday, August 15, 2014. OC, SWA and MRI. Now that I can sit for more than 5 minutes without feeling pain or exhaustion, I thought I'd catch up on our blog. Friday, February 18, 2011. Well, 2011 has been busy so far. We are renovating our living room and guest bath. Larry and I are trying to do most of it ourselves, but are leaving the really technical stuff up to the contractors. We are starting to learn all about codes that come into play when you remove countertops, shower tile, etc. Fun, fun. Saturday, September 11, 2010. 9 Months and Maui. Hi all. We arrived in Maui Thursday after a quite enjoyable 4.5 hour flight. We got an extra seat, so we all had seats! Saturday, August 13, 2011. Hi everyone. We are doing well here in Alameda. It hasn't been the warmest of summers, but we are looking forward to our Indian Summer in September and October. Maggie and Mary are doing well. In the past few months they have improved their climbing to the point where we can't really leave them alone in the living room for more than a few seconds. Monday, June 30, 2014. Helmets and Chocolate Cake. On the way to a birthday get together, the girls had to wear their helmets (they brought their scooters.) I told them they looked 'special', but they don't really know the other meaning of that word. One minute they were being silly and wild and then next they were passed out!
