The reception was in the evening so I decided to visit the temples near by Theni. For more information visit, http:/ www.gowmariammantemple.org/. There is a check dam across the river near the temple. It is a scenic sight to watch the check dam. Veerapandi is about 8 km from Theni. Kuchanoor is about 20 km from Theni.

Yesterday I was blessed to have dharshan of two Anjaneya swamis installed by Sri Vysaraja. Both the temples are near the famous Shiva temple at Avinashi. The first one is Sri Veera Anjanyar temple. The Anjaneya idol is very small. There are no other shrines in the temple. A new temple is being constructed near by. How to get there: Bus service is available from Coimbatore and Tirupur.
