A Model Obsession: August 2008
http://amodelobsession.blogspot.com/2008_08_01_archive.html
This where I will track my progress and experiences as I delve into the crazy world of model railroading. Friday, August 29, 2008. Step 3 - Tunnel work. Yeah, not so much. After some trial and error, I figured out that to make the corners, I had to cut the track bed at intervals and then cut the appropriate angles to line it up. After that, it was quite simple. So, now it's drying and tomorrow I will try out the ballast and some "scenic cement" work. Links to this post. Monday, August 25, 2008. Step 1 - ...

A Model Obsession: November 2008

This where I will track my progress and experiences as I delve into the crazy world of model railroading. Sunday, November 23, 2008. Step 3 - Tunnel Work - Continued. So the idea of gluing things in place and getting everything to line up right, so on and so forth had me a bit nervous. In fact, in a couple of areas where the connection was slightly off, I added shivs to make them even. Me! All things considered, of course. Links to this post. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Pam's Cakes: 6/17/12 - 6/24/12
http://pamscakes.blogspot.com/2012_06_17_archive.html
This is where I rant about all things Pamela: cakes, Harry Potter, kids, husbands, whatever. Tuesday, June 19, 2012. Making good on a bet. One day, I hope that my daughter can feel the same for her team (and my son, should he choose a team of his own). My husband, however, has been a lifelong fan of the San Francisco 49ers. Occasionally this creates a very turbulent atmosphere in our home, like back in January, for example. My boys were given the opportunity to crush the 49ers into the ground!

A Model Obsession: Well, everything waaaaaas going well....
http://amodelobsession.blogspot.com/2008/08/well-everything-waaaaaas-going-well.html
This where I will track my progress and experiences as I delve into the crazy world of model railroading. Monday, August 25, 2008. Well, everything waaaaaas going well. So, I should have known things were going too well, especially given my involvement with the designing and building of the project. So, you may recall that I had the grand idea of a pulley system for storage of this behemoth of a project. Well, it worked, kind of. Maybe I'll even get to work on my train layout! My new all consuming hobby.

http://pamscakes.blogspot.com/2012/12/so-in-keeping-with-spirit-of-all-things.html
This is where I rant about all things Pamela: cakes, Harry Potter, kids, husbands, whatever. Monday, December 17, 2012. So in keeping with the spirit of all things New Year's Resolution, I'm modifying my personal agreement with myself as witnessed by all 2 people on the Interwebz! I'm leaving the once a week gig intact, but instead of committing to an ACTUAL hour every week, I'm committing to a THEORETICAL hour every week. Sounds perfect, right? They don't come to me to settle the disputes! Step 3 - Tunn...

A Model Obsession: Step 2 - The Layout "Rises"
http://amodelobsession.blogspot.com/2008/08/building-layout.html
This where I will track my progress and experiences as I delve into the crazy world of model railroading. Monday, August 11, 2008. Step 2 - The Layout "Rises". I only had an hour to work on the beast (as I've come to affectionately refer to it) this evening. Work got in the way; what a pain! But I soon saw the genius of their plan. Hey Shammin Shayne, nice nick name. I finally decided to check out your blog. I love the train! October 8, 2008 at 8:13 AM. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).
