Thursday, January 7, 2010. I have some dandruff near the top and front of my head and ive been using cooling dandruff shampoo for it every night. Should i only be using this a few times a week? Is it making it even more dry? I also dont use any conditioner because i heard it makes dandruff worse. Oh,and ive been told using clarifying shampoo once a week helps.is this true? Use dandruff shampoo only once or twice a week. It isn't good to be using it everyday. You have dandurff because you hav a dry scalp.

Dry shampoo is really ridiculous. if you leave it in the can for too long (and dont use it), it will all evaporate and you'll have nothing left. However, talcom powder/baby powder is amazing. you just tip some in your hand, and massage it through your hair in all the oily areas. It works just as well, if not better.
