You know, i have heard that you CAN use it in a product ( i goggled it and a lot of the blue said conditioner ) but i would do some research.Is it safe to use mayonnaise as shampoo? It's not unsafe, but it isn't going to clean your hair. Actually, the eggs in the mayo will condition your hair. Mayo is really a hair conditioner, not a shampoo. NO - But you can use it as conditioner after you shampoo put it in your hair and then rinse out.

By diluting it all you're doing is using less shampoo, but it is healthier to use less it won't dry your hair out, but theres is no need to dilute just use a dime sized amount when you shampoo.
