Sunday, October 26, 2008. The spooky dinner that Grandma made for the carnival! A ghost made out of mashed potatoes and olives. A spider made out of meatballs, cheese, chow mien noodles, olives, and tortilla chips. A mummy made out of a hot dog, crescent rolls, and mustard. The Kids are ready for Ashley's Halloween Carnival. Wednesday, March 11, 2009. DAY4: Got up this morning and now we are even bigger. Back down to Primary Children's for the umpteen time. Thankfully she is still her happy self. Monday, March 9, 2009. DAY 1 : The day of Gaba's surgery. Grandma came to help so dad could stay home with the kids. They needed some daddy time. She is out like a light. It was great since most of the time we vomit (which she did on the nurse just before I got her) Score! So it helps to be able to sleep it off. Tidbits about our life in the country. Nov 1, 2011. This Halloween we took the kiddos to a small pumpkin patch that the local pottery/nursery store put together. I was really impressed with the result. The had a small maze of straw bales that the kids enjoyed. It was hard keeping them in the maze instead of climbing over the bales. They loved all the funny shaped "pumpkins". I must admit, I have never seen so many oddly shaped gourds either. Hayden was excited to see this sign since. A cat and a ghost.
