I have been creating art basically since I first learned to hold a crayon as a youngster. I began painting and drawing portraits in 1992 when I started getting requests from people who wanted to give them as gifts to their friends and family. Many reported back to me, describing the receiver's surprise at such a unique gift as well as the tears shed over something meaningful and memorable. I enjoy capturing a moment in time with my art, immortalizing the subject and bringing joy to those who view the work.
