The Shandaken Police Department is located in the Town of Shandaken, in the extreme western portion of Ulster County, New York. The town is approximately 109 square miles of a mixture of private, state and New York City lands, these lands when used with permission are some of the best areas to hike, hunt, ski and swim in the entire world.
