In A Nut Shell. Tuesday, May 26, 2009. So the last few days have been a dizzying daze of disease. Last week Shane said "I don't feel good- I'm going to stay home work today." He didn't seem sick- I told him to stop faking. He went to work the next day, only to come home with a fever of 102, and looking like death. Okay- so he's not faking! We take him to the doctor, worried about piggie. Need I remind you of the teeny, tiny baby at home with the other 3 children? Oh good- we need more contagious diseases!

In A Nut Shell. Tuesday, August 4, 2009. Vacation from the Vacation. Five weeks is too long to be living out of a suitcase in your car with your 4 kids and your dog. I'm grumpy, sunburned, poor and exhausted. We had a fantastic time- we really did. I just can't seem to muster the energy to do anything about it- like blog in detail or even unpack. I'm ready for a vacation without car, children, suitcase, dog, gas station toilets or travel uglies. Is it possible? My question to the cosmos.

At the hospital.Hubble was Mr. Mom that week while I was in the hospital. He did a great job balancing everything that was going on. After one of her lessons when her teacher was praising her on how she was doing, Julia said, "I like getting compliments. It makes me feel good."
