Tuesday, May 18, 2010. After our plans to play at the park were thwarted by Mother Nature, we headed to the gymnasium at our church for warmer and drier fun and frivolity. The sidewalk chalk and bubbles would have to be for another day. Anyway, a cardboard rocket ship to pummel seemed like a decent substitute for fresh air and a playground. Linus' friends were more than generous with the gifts and friendly fun. Thanks, guys! Happy Big Five, Buddy! Buddies to keep an eye on:. Belnap, Party of Five.

Monday, May 10, 2010. I did it again! I've let another quarter of the year pass by with no post! When it's put that way it sounds so bad =). Well here's to catching up. I will try to keep it short and sweet and do better from here on out, but make no promises. February was a cold month. That's about all I remember and the fact that Ty and I went on a field trip on a big yellow bus to the zoo. In the frosty air. It was no fun and I didn't even take any pics. It was that cold =). Ty sleeping by Daddy.

BTW-we saw AVATAR tonight and I thought the special effects were amazing but the acting and general script was cheesier that the pizza I ate during the movie. So we took the kids to Disneyland and as I look back on the day I think that the happiest part of Emery's day was using the little vacuum in our condo.she is so quirky! Here an endangered land bound Beluga Whale directs the X-Men flag football team in the execution of their next play. It's amazing that the children understand all of those squeaks, but it's no surprise that they weren't undefeated. You try playing for a whale.
