Shane Couch "Inspired by the Sea" Seascape and Historic Marine Paintings. Tuesday, 21 January 2014. Happy New Year to everyone. I've hit the ground running this year completing two yachting paintings. This painting depicts the J Class Yacht Rainbow which successfully defended the 1934 Americas Cup against the J Class Endeavour, in what was a very close contest. Im also currently working on a couple of seascapes the first shows the surf at Praa Sands and the second the beach at Priory Bay Seaview.

Has established himself as a prominent voice integrating the schools of Johns Hopkins through an emphasis on interdisciplinary study. Most recently he was named an assistant investigator and research manager of the Dean Incentive Grant winning pilot project exploring the effects of weekly guitar lessons on Parkinsonian patients.
